A GENTLE BEGINNING
A little space.
One step at a time.
You do not need to fill every box. Start with one small check-in and build a rhythm that feels like your own.
Go to my account →Open My quiet planner in your account. Customers need an active paid membership; administrators can use their own planner without subscribing. Your first visit asks you to review the journal privacy consent.
Choose your moment.
Open My quiet planner, choose Today and check the date. Write one feeling or one thing you are grateful for. Meals, water, energy and personal tracking are optional.
Make a little plan.
Use the section menu to explore weekly goals, meals, shopping and monthly habits. On a small screen, swipe the menu sideways. Meal and list tables can also scroll sideways.
Save, then return.
Choose Save entry and wait for “Saved to your account”. Typing alone does not save. Return to the same section and date after logging in to reopen your entry. Save before switching sections, dates or devices.
YOUR PLANNER AT A GLANCE
A place for every rhythm.
- Today · When a trigger shows up
- One entry for each selected day. Check in or notice what brought a feeling up.
- Weekly action plan · Meal plan · Shopping list · Weekly reflection
- One entry per section for the week starting Monday. Choosing another day in that week opens the same weekly entry.
- Monthly rhythm · Monthly reflection
- One entry per section for the selected month. Habit markers follow the actual number of days in that month.
- My favourites · The journey · Write to release
- Ongoing pages for favourite foods, milestones and thoughts. Changing the date does not create another copy.
A LITTLE REASSURANCE
When you need a hand.
How do I know my entry has saved?
Wait for “Saved to your account” beside Save entry. “Unsaved changes” means the page still needs saving. The administrator preview instead says “Saved in this preview tab”; preview entries disappear on reload and do not go to a customer account.
What if I lose my connection or saving times out?
Keep the page open. Unsaved text remains on this page, but closing or reloading can lose it. Keep a copy of your unsaved text somewhere private before reloading after a timeout, then check whether the save completed. There is no offline draft backup.
What if an entry changed in another tab?
The planner prevents an older version overwriting newer saved work. Keep a private copy of your unsaved text before reloading, review the saved entry, then apply your changes and save again. Use one editing tab at a time.
How do I manage my account and membership?
Use My account & subscription in the planner, or My account in the site menu. Membership access depends on your subscription status. If you need help, contact contact@thequietjournal.co.uk.
Can I reopen the tutorial?
Yes. Choose How to use beside Save entry for the six-step walkthrough. Opening or closing it keeps your current entry and unsaved words in place.
How should I use the optional tracking?
Leave any field blank whenever you prefer. The planner records your own observations and is not medical advice. Use a private device and log out after using a shared device.
